1998年，E38 7系列小改款車型推出後，國內在當年11月便迅速引進，外觀、內裝均有小幅更動，其中雙圓頭燈下緣則採用類E46的淚眼型式，動力部分則仍維持改款前的3.5升V8、4.4升V8，以及5.4升的V12。在這段期間，總代理一直沒有引進配置L6引擎的728i/728iL車型，而是由貿易商引進販售，直到2001年汎德才正式引進，特別的是這批728iL不僅配備豐富，而且還配備10具氣囊，可謂相當有誠意。一起隨著Celsior回味90年代BMW的豪華風！
